She is the daughter of actress Pooja Bedi and businessman Farhan Ibrahim Furniturewala. She is the granddaughter of actor Kabir Bedi and classical dancer Protima Bedi. She started her career in Bollywood In the year 2020.

 She marked her entry into the film industry with the Nitin Kakkar’s family comedy – drama movie “Jawaani Jaaneman”. She also won the prestigious Filmfare Award for the Best Female Debut for the movie Jawani Jaaneman.

  1. Jawaani Jaaneman – 2020

Jawaani Jaaneman is a family comedy feel good movie. It revolves around a carefree middle-aged bachelor, thoroughly immersed in the vibrant party scene surrounded by beautiful women. However, his free lifestyle takes an unexpected turn when he discovers he is not only a father but also about to become a grandfather due to his young daughter’s pregnancy. The film explores whether he will take up the responsibility of her daughter or will he keep living his carefree existence, ignoring the changes in his life.

This coming-of-age story humorously depicts a man’s journey as he grapples with the stark realities that challenge his previously carefree outlook on life. Alaya F was praised for her performance in the movie and she was able to leave her mark in the heart of audiences leading her to win the Filmafare Best Female Debut Award for the movie.

2. Freddy – 2022

The film is a psychological thriller starring Kartik Aryan and Alaya F directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film got positive reviews and people really liked the performance of Alaya F. In the movie, a shy and socially awkward dentist in Mumbai falls in love with a woman in an abusive marriage and cannot stop thinking about her. He goes to great lengths to win her affection. However, unveiling hidden secrets forces him into a different path. In this romantic thriller, the boundaries between love and obsession become indistinct, creating a suspenseful narrative filled with unpredictable twists and turns.

3. Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat – 2023

It is a musical romantic drama directed by Anurag Kashyap starring Alaya F and newcomer Karan Mehta. Although the film did not do well on the boxoffice but Alaya’s acting was well praised. In this movie, a girl likes a boy a little too much. And, in a parallel universe exists a boy that likes a girl. The destinies of two young couples, originating from two contrasting worlds and in pursuit of forbidden love, intertwine and clash in two compelling narratives are coming towards each other with breathless anticipation. These tragic love stories, one set to music, unfold with an eerie coincidence, narrated by the Love Guru himself – DJ Mohabbat.

4. U-Turn – 2023

It is a supernatural thriller movie directed by Arif Khan. The movie centers on motorists who displaces concrete blocks from the divider to take U-turns, resulting in numerous accidents. The plot unfolds the tale of Radhika, a news intern, who becomes the prime suspect in a string of murders while investigating a news story. The surprising revelation emerges that the perpetrator is her deceased brother.

5. Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan – April 2024

Alaya F will be also seen in the upcoming action-thriller movie “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan” written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff along with Manushi Chhillar, Sonakshi Sinha and Alaya F. The film is set to be released on Eid, April 10th, 2024.
