Samsung Galaxy A55 5G Specs and Features Revealed: The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has been causing a stir among upcoming smartphones. Anticipation was raised by the first renders, which showed off this mid-range 5G device. Prior to the visual disclosures, benchmark findings revealed the AMD Xclipse 530 GPU and the Exynos 1480 processor.
Although there was potential for improvement in the initial benchmark scores, new research on Geekbench 6 has given cause for hope. Model number SM-A556B, the Galaxy A55, demonstrated a noteworthy single-core score of 1127 and a multi-core score of 3090. This represents a minor improvement over the Galaxy A54, which was powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC and scored 1006 on a single core and 2792 on a multi-core.
The Exynos 1480 SoC, which has four performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.05GHz, is anticipated to be found in the upcoming smartphone. This powerful machine is paired with 8GB of RAM and the most recent version of Android, 14.
The Galaxy A55 is expected to have a slightly bigger design than the A54, with dimensions of 161.1 x 77.3 / 77.9 x 8.2 mm. The reported 6.5-inch Infinity-O display, which replaces the A54’s 6.4-inch screen, is responsible for this size difference.
